Implants

If one or more of your teeth are missing, there are a number of ways to replace them. An alternative to bridges, partials or complete dentures may be dental implants. Implants are used to replace missing roots and support artificial replacement teeth. They are comfortable and look like natural teeth.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • Are implants effective?

    They are very effective.

Not only are they used to replace a missing tooth, they can also be used to support a denture that no longer is stable. That is especially true with lower dentures that no longer have a bony ridge to support them. In many cases, two implants will make an old lower denture feel like a new set of teeth. Much more information on this topic can be had from our dental team.

  • Is it a painful procedure?

No, and postoperatively with the implant system we use there is very little to NO pain.

  • Do I have to be “put to sleep”?

No, not for the cases we do.

  • Will my insurance pay for my implant?

Every insurance is different therefore it is hard for us to know. We can send a pre-determination to your carrier and your insurance company will contact you with that information.
