Dr. Matt Bradshaw
I grew up in Hampton NB, and graduated from Hampton High School. I did a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mathematics at Dalhousie University; after working for 2 years in an unrelated field, I returned to university to pursue a career in dentistry, graduating from the Dalhousie Dental School in May 2011. I chose to become a dentist after spending time job-shadowing Dr. Bill Rector, seeing how much he enjoyed working with his patients and gaining an appreciation for the technical hands-on side of dentistry. I knew I wanted a career that would allow a good work-life balance, in a field of work that would be challenging and interesting each day, and that would be consistently rewarding, whether it be from getting somebody out of pain or helping somebody feel better about their smile. Outside of work I like to travel, snowboard, scuba-dive, play guitar, spend time outdoors (at the beach, hiking/camping, etc.), and to spend time with my fiancée, friends and family.
